The Dopamine Chronicles

An almost daily cartoon about Parkinson's

FEAR and son of fear meet Abbot and Costello…

I think I borrowed that headline from Jerry Delafamina in “From those Wonderful Folks that Brought you Pearl Harbor.” I got to stop looking at headlines from the National Enquirer, they just bring you down and make you think about your own “woefully short time” when they publish articles like “Muhammed Ali only has 6 months…”. So FEAR raises its ugly head and shakes your tree a little bit! Then you remember this IS the National Enquirer, sold right next to Weekly World News and “Bat Boy” headlines near the chips by the register…

(tried a new technique, the drawing pad hooked up to the computer! was inspired reading about Tim Burton and his early years at school, he was a delinquent doodler and creature creator…)

  1. Really like this pencil line style. Feels more casual and descriptive!

  3. Most definitely! I think it allows the wiggliness of lines to just BE wiggly. Also, there’s more of a grey-scale & texture to the illustration. Lastly-but-not-leastly, it just feels more comfortable. Two thumbs up!
